Place of Birth. Education. Born in Kyiv. In 1984, he graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (with a degree in Journalism).

Career. 1974-1984 - Student at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

1984-1986 - Service in the Soviet Army.

1986-1989 - Correspondent for the newspaper Kyiv Truth.

1989-1992 - Senior Editor of the poetry editorial board at the Molodezh publishing house.

1992-1995 - Consultant at TO Synthesis, Editor of the literary newspaper Zeit.

Since 1995, he has been the President of the Art Agency Territory A.

Since 2003, he has been a part-time music producer for the TV channel OTV. As a television producer, he has also worked on projects for the channels 1+1, ICTV, First National, Kyiv.

2008-2010 - Consultant to Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

2012-2014 - Deputy of the Ukrainian Parliament of the VII Convocation. He ran for the Batkivshchyna party in electoral district No. 217 in Kyiv. Member of the Parliamentary Committee on Culture and Spirituality.

Since 2015 - freelance consultant to the Minister of Information Policy (Yuriy Stets) in the ATO zone.

From March 2016 to August 2019 - Deputy of the Ukrainian Parliament of the VIII Convocation. He entered Parliament on the list of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc after deputies Mykola Tomenko and Yegor Firsov lost their mandates at the BPP congress.

He participated in the early parliamentary elections of 2019, where he ran for the European Solidarity party, but his position on the list (No. 45) was not viable.

Public Activities. Member of the Council of the St. Andrew the First-Called Foundation (since 1997).

From April 2006 to November 2012 - Deputy of the Kyiv City Council of the V and VI convocations for the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc. Chairman of the permanent committee on Culture and Tourism.

Since 2011, he has been a member of the Main Directorate of the Ukrainian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments.

Since 2013, he has been the Deputy Head of the Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Ukraine.

Family. Married. Has a son Dmitri (born 1984).
