Date of Birth: 08.09.1966
Place of Birth. Education. Born in the village of Pereselennya in the Kagarlyk District of Kyiv Region. After school, he graduated from the Cherkasy Fire Technical School. In 1992, he obtained a higher engineering degree in fire and fire safety from the University of Fire and Fire Safety of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Career. Since 1983, he has been working in the internal affairs authorities.
After graduating from the Cherkasy Fire Technical School, he worked as an inspector, senior inspector, deputy head, head of the military fire-fighting unit, head of the state fire safety supervision department, head of the independent state fire-fighting unit, deputy head of the fire safety department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Kyiv Region.
In 2001, he was appointed head of the fire safety department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Lviv Region.
In July 2002, he was appointed deputy head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine for personnel work by a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Since August 2004, he has been the Deputy Minister of Emergencies of Ukraine.
From April 2007 to January 2008, he served as Deputy Minister of Emergencies and Population Protection from the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster (Nestor Shufrich).
From January 2008 to March 2010, he was the rector of the Academy of Fire Safety named after the Heroes of Chernobyl of the Ministry of Emergencies of Ukraine.
From March to December 2010, he was Deputy Minister of Emergencies and Population Protection from the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster (first Shufrich, then Viktor Baloga).
In December 2010, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Emergencies of Ukraine by decree of President Viktor Yanukovych (Baloga). From March 2012, he was the first deputy head of the Ministry of Emergencies.
In December 2012, the Ministry of Emergencies was transformed by a decree of President Yanukovych into the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
In February 2013, But resigned from his position as the first deputy minister of emergencies.
