Denys Leontiyovych Maljuska – Ukrainian Minister of Justice. Ukrainian lawyer, businessman, chairman of BRDO/World Bank Group. Member of the Ukrainian Parliament of the IX convocation from the Servant of the People party.
Place of Birth. Education. Denys Maljuska was born on November 19, 1981, in Dunaivtsi, Chmelnytskyi region. In 2010, Denys Maljuska was appointed advisor for private sector development at the World Bank Group. In this position, he provided technical support to the governments of Ukraine and Central Asian countries. Later, he was elected Deputy Chairman of the Board of BRDO/World Bank Group - an independent non-governmental expert and analytical center established at the initiative of the Ministry of Economic Development and Western partners: the World Bank and the Government of Canada.
Political Career. In the 2019 parliamentary elections, he was elected as a Member of Parliament from the Servant of the People party, No. 21 on the list.
On August 29, 2019, the parliament approved the new cabinet, and Denys Maljuska was appointed Minister of Justice of Ukraine.
On March 4, 2020, the parliament voted for the resignation of Oleksiy Honcharuk as Prime Minister, leading to the resignation of the entire government. On the same day, the parliament confirmed the new cabinet, and Denys Maljuska was again appointed Minister of Justice of Ukraine.
Views. He considers the chaotic Ukrainian reforms to be a major problem that hinders the normal development of the country.
