Over 50%: Arahamia announced a major update of the Cabinet.
The head of the Servant of the People faction announced a government reset
The head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, David Arahamia, announced a major government reset, which will take place this week. According to him, the changes will affect more than half of the regular number of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
"As promised, a major government reset can already be expected this week. More than 50% of the regular number of the CMU will undergo changes," Arahamia wrote on September 3, 2024.
He also revealed the details of the government renewal process: "Tomorrow we are waiting for the dismissal day, and the day after tomorrow the appointment day. The final list will be determined at the faction meeting on 4.09".
Arahamia called on citizens to follow only official news regarding changes in the Cabinet.
It is worth noting that earlier the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, announced the receipt of resignation letters from three ministers and the head of the State Property Fund. In particular, Alexander Kamyshin, Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine, Denis Malyuska, Minister of Justice of Ukraine, Ruslan Strelets, Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, as well as Vitaliy Koval, Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, announced their intention to resign.
