E-Declaration News. Father-in-law puts deputy Zhelezniak in an elite apartment.
In August 2023, Member of Parliament Yaroslav Zhelezniak from the "Golos" faction moved into an apartment at 36-B Evgenia Konovaltsa Street in Pechersk. The cost of this housing is 12 million UAH, but it is registered to the politician's father-in-law from his second marriage. This change in Zhelezniak's property status is confirmed by his official declaration, published by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.
The apartment has an area of 134 square meters and is elite housing.
According to the publication "Unian", Zhelezniak's official salary as a Member of Parliament is about 660 thousand UAH per year. The cost of this elite apartment in Pechersk is equivalent to the price of 17 annual salaries of the deputy.
It is known that MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak from the "Golos" faction married Olga Koval from the "Servant of the People" faction in 2023. The politician himself announced this on his Facebook page and posted a photo from the marriage registration, which was conducted by the Minister of Justice Denys Maliuska.
According to the media, Zhelezniak already had his first wife, Antoinette, who was an entrepreneur from Bila Tserkva. As of 2023, she was abroad.
