In 2005, he became a Master at Kharkiv Academy of Physical Education and Sport.

Since 2004, Tedeiev has been the president of the Association of Sports Wrestling of Ukraine. The position was previously held by Boris Savlokhov. For some, this person was a well-known athlete and philanthropist; for others (especially law enforcement officials) - a well-known criminal authority, the leader of the Kyiv organized crime group 'Savlokha'. Died in May 2004 in a penal colony (received a term for 'extortion'). By the way, Savlokhov was one of the coaches of the champion.
Political career. In the 2006 elections, independent Tedeiev passed to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine under the 103rd number of the Party of Regions. He became a member of the committee on family, youth policy and sports. According to statistical data on the VR website, during the work of the V convocation parliament, the deputy did not distinguish himself either by speeches in the session hall of the VR, nor by parliamentary inquiries, nor by authorship of any bills.
But the champion wrestler with the mandate of a parliamentarian found the strengths and skills acquired in sports life helpful when it was necessary to provide physical support to representatives of the 'anti-crisis headquarters of the anti-crisis coalition' near the walls of the Constitutional Court. At that time, the fate of President Viktor Yushchenko's decrees on the dissolution of parliament, against which the coalition led by the Party of Regions strongly opposed, was being decided.
In the extraordinary elections of 2007, Tedeiev found himself in the 'winnable' part of the electoral list of the same Party of Regions - under No. 132.
From December 2012 to November 2014 - people's deputy of Ukraine of the VII convocation from the Party of Regions (No. 20 in the list). First Deputy Chairman of the VR Committee on Family, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism.
