Ukrainian Anzhelika Terlyuga won silver at the World Games: how it happened.
Anzhelika Terlyuga won a silver medal at the World Games-2025, which are taking place in Chengdu, China. The Ukrainian reached the final of the tournament in the up to 55 kg category and competed against a four-time European champion.
Previously, Terlyuga lost in the semifinals, but as a result of a protest from the Ukrainian delegation, the score was reviewed, and the athlete was given a chance for gold.
This medal became Terlyuga's second at the World Games after the 'gold' in 2022. She remains one of the most outstanding karate athletes of Ukraine.
Ukrainian karate athlete Anzhelika Terlyuga won a silver medal at the World Games-2025 in the up to 55 kg category. She showed a confident fight and became the second best in the tournament, losing only to the four-time European champion.
