Ronnie O'Sullivan breakthrough of the Ukrainian: when to expect the world champion.
Talents of Snooker
According to The Sun: Ronnie O'Sullivan expressed hope that young snooker player Stan Moody will soon reach the heights of his career.
19-year-old Moody has already started his third season at the professional level.
GettyThis season has been very successful for Moody: he has already defeated famous players such as Ding Junhui, Kyren Wilson, Barry Hawkins, Ryan Day, and Ali Carter - twice.
For the first time, Moody also reached the quarter-finals of a tournament, participating in the Wuhan Open and the British Open Championship.
O'Sullivan, 49, noted that he is closely following the progress of this young talent and is impressed by his performances.
“I am excited about Stan Moody. I believe he is an incredible talent. I watched him play and thought, 'yes, this guy can play.' I always believed he could deliver, but now he has shown that his breakthrough is just around the corner,” said Ronnie.
Moody was the first to overcome O'Sullivan's 'curse', defeating him in the first round of the Wuhan Open and then overcoming Zhou Yuelong.
He became the first player to win a match after beating O'Sullivan in 23 attempts.
Despite his high ambitions, Moody remains humble compared to Luke Littler.
“I still have a long way to go to be like Luke Littler in snooker, but I am on the right path. I want to be in the top 32 by the end of the season and progress further in tournaments. I am on the right track,” he added.id='6382186209112' data-video-id='6382186209112' data-account='5067014667001' data-player='default' data-usage='cms:WordPress:6.5.7:2.8.6:javascript' data-embed='default' class='video-js' data-application-id='' controls style='width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute; top: 0; bottom: 0; right: 0; left: 0;'> Young Stan Moody continues to impress with his performances in the snooker market, showcasing remarkable abilities and confidence. His intentions to break into the top 32 carry not only ambition but also a huge potential worth watching in the future. Ronnie O'Sullivan, as a colleague and source of inspiration for the young player, is convinced that Moody is capable of reaching significant heights in his career.
