British boxer Georgia O'Connor has died from cancer
25-year-old Georgia O'Connor, a two-time youth world boxing championship medalist, has died of cancer. In October 2024, she was given a terrible diagnosis. This month, she married her partner Adriano Cardinali.
O'Connor competed in the middleweight division and holds a bronze medal from the 2018 youth world championship and silver from 2017. She also has three wins in three professional ring bouts. This loss has been a great shock to the world of boxing.
