According to The Sun: Tony Ferguson confirmed that he is not planning to retire and is returning to fighting with renewed strength — he even tried a new hairstyle.

Ferguson, who was once a star of the UFC and fought for the lightweight title, suffered a loss to Justin Gaethje in 2020.

After Gaethje ended his 12-fight winning streak, Ferguson suffered eight consecutive losses, which became one of the most significant declines in his career.

However, Ferguson did not give up and decided to switch to boxing, signing a contract with Misfits Boxing — a platform for crossover fights.

The 41-year-old American responded to criticism, including comments from UFC president Dana White, urging him to stay out of boxing.

“I intend to come back. I have a new hairline, weight is good, and I am ready to fight.”
