Tony Ferguson’s sons inspired by his gory MMA career but UFC great says they must be educated before they can fight too.
According to The Sun: Tony Ferguson’s sons must complete their education before diving headfirst into the world of brutal fights, but they are inspired by their father.
Ferguson raises two sons - a four-year-old and a nine-year-old - who already eagerly follow his legendary career filled with bright moments.

“Once when I took them to my academy, there was a photo of me smiling but covered in red liquid that looked like Kool-Aid, and it was obviously someone else's blood, and I'm smiling!”
Ferguson showed his photo with his sons, and it is clear that he is a true hero to them.
As a former interim UFC lightweight champion, he knows that one day his sons may choose to follow in his footsteps. However, he strongly emphasizes the importance of higher education.
“Of course, they always want to do what Daddy does, but I always do homework with them,”he added.
Ferguson stressed that his priority is his children’s education, although he does not discount their desire to pursue boxing.
He shared:
“When they want to fight, I always put on the boxing gloves, and they start.”
About his children, he said:
“I have a four-year-old and a nine-year-old, and my youngest is a little tyrant. I love that kid. My nine-year-old is just the same. They want to do what Daddy does, and I will support them, but first, they need to finish college.”
After a series of eight consecutive losses in the UFC, Ferguson decided to take up boxing despite calls for retirement.
“They don’t understand the difference,” Ferguson said, commenting about the kids.
“When we travel, they don’t think of it as a vacation. My wife always tells them: ‘Daddy is working.’”

Tony Ferguson, who recently switched to boxing, is confident:
“I’ve taken on new forms, I took eight months off, I feel confident, great. My weight stabilized, I used to fight between 200 and 155 pounds, and now I stay around 175 pounds.”
He is set to fight TikToker Sol Papi on Saturday. Tony noted:
“I don’t pay attention to you when it comes to my fight game.”
Thus, Ferguson continues to have a positive influence on his children, teaching them the importance of education and supporting their dreams of boxing. He faces a new challenge in boxing, and his progress will be interesting for sports fans in the coming days.
Tony’s parenting approach is commendable as he tries to balance his ambitions as an athlete with the role of a caring dad, which is extremely important in the modern sports world.
