Trump met with MMA fighter convicted of rape at the White House.
Former UFC champion Conor McGregor met with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House. The meeting was held in celebration of St. Patrick's Day.
McGregor has not participated in mixed martial arts since July 2021, when he lost by technical knockout at UFC 264. He has a record of 22 wins and six losses.
The trial for rape convicted McGregor. The court ruled that he attacked and raped Nikita Hend in 2018. The athlete will have to pay nearly 250 thousand euros in compensation.
Trump's meeting with Putin is scheduled for this week. The presidents will discuss territorial issues and 'the division of certain assets' between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. The U.S. is prepared to implement the toughest sanctions against Russia.
The Director of National Intelligence believes in a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Ukraine due to Trump's commitment to the issue.
