The coach of the Ukrainian girls' national football team spoke about the preparation for the Development Tournament.
The Ukrainian WU-15 girls' national team participated in a training camp in Ternopil, where they played two friendly matches against DYuSSh-1 (Khmelnytskyi) and 'Nadbug' (Buzhk) and achieved confident victories with scores of 9:1 and 3:0. This was reported by 'Glavcom' citing UAF.
The head coach of the Ukrainian girls' national team, Natalia Ihnatovych, shared her impressions from the June preparation stage:
In November, we will participate in the UEFA Development Tournament in Finland, where we expect matches against Estonians and Slovaks. The training in Ternopil was the first stage of preparation for these important competitions. All players who distinguished themselves in national tournaments participated in this camp. We completed everything we planned. I am satisfied with the diligence and desire of our girls to progress.
Importantly, there were no injuries during the camp. The core of the team was identified, which included 14-15 players. The selection work continues with the aim of expanding the list of potential candidates and increasing competition for a starting place. The next camp is planned for November, just before departure to Finland.
