Triumphs of Ukrainian wrestlers on the world stage
Ukrainian athletes continue to delight their fans! At the U23 World Championship held in Novi Sad, Iryna Bondar won a silver medal in the 62 kg weight category, while Aida Kerimova and Oleksandra Ryabak received bronze medals. Another positive news - at the European Youth Olympic Festival, the Ukrainian team ranked 10th in the overall medal standings, winning 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals. The most successful sport for Ukrainian athletes at this festival was judo, and medals were also won in disciplines such as swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, artistic gymnastics, and table tennis. Additionally, Ukraine demonstrated worthy results at the World Summer Universiade, where they won 12 medals, including one bronze in the 20 km race walking.Against the backdrop of these successes of Ukrainian athletes, it is worth noting that the fight for medals on international stages continues confidently.
