Trudeau made a statement about supporting Ukraine.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated the need to strengthen support for Ukraine. He believes that Russia is trying to exhaust Ukraine's forces, causing war fatigue among its international partners. He announced this during the ministerial conference on the human dimension of the Peace Formula in Montreal.
Trudeau believes that in these challenging times, when every democracy faces challenges, some countries may say that they cannot continue to support Ukraine because of their own issues. But this is exactly what the Kremlin wants. Russia looks at history from afar and is willing to sacrifice its citizens, hoping to overcome Ukraine. Therefore, efforts and support from everyone are necessary, noted the prime minister.
Trudeau emphasized that for Putin, the invasion of Ukraine has become "a mistake upon mistake." He does this due to underestimating the strength, resilience, and courage of the Ukrainian people. Despite almost a thousand days of war, the determination of Ukrainians has never been so strong. The belief in a free, democratic, safe, and proud Ukraine is unwavering, and victory belongs not only to Ukraine but to all of us, he expressed his confidence.
