CNN Has Clarified China’s Intentions Regarding Peaceful Resolution in Ukraine.

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that China could help America resolve the conflict in Ukraine. At the World Economic Forum in Davos, he noted that Putin's ally Xi Jinping might have weight in this situation. 'We will work with China to stop the war between Russia and Ukraine,' Trump said.

The priority scenario is the example of cooperation between the U.S. and China in the Ukrainian war, especially when Beijing is trying to avoid conflicts with America. Nevertheless, China does not wish to jeopardize its relations with Russia. If Trump considers cooperation with China important for improving relations, then China could play a useful role. However, experts warn that Beijing lacks sufficient motivation for serious cooperation with America.
