The Finnish police are investigating several possible illegal drone flights at the Nammo munitions factory in Vihtavuori, Laukaa.
According to the Yle television company, the second drone flight over or near the factory occurred last Tuesday.
The criminal investigation has been transferred from the Central Finland police to the Central Criminal Police.
Commissioner of the Criminal Police Jussi Luoto reported that several drone flights have been documented. At this stage of the investigation, he cannot provide additional information, as the inquiry is just beginning.
According to Luoto, disclosing details at this stage would harm the investigation.
The Central Finland police informed Yle at the end of January that they are investigating a case of a possible drone flight in a restricted zone. The police are considering this case as a threat to road safety.
Nammo declined to comment on the situation.
