In Aschaffenburg, in a German park, a man attacked people with a knife. Two people died, and another two were seriously injured. This was reported by the city police.

According to law enforcement, the attack was carried out by a 28-year-old citizen of Afghanistan. His first victim was a two-year-old child, who, along with a 41-year-old man, sustained fatal injuries. Two more victims were seriously injured and taken to the hospital.

The police of Aschaffenburg, along with neighboring agencies, launched a large-scale search for the suspect as soon as they received information about the incident. The 28-year-old man was arrested nearby the scene. The suspected weapon - a knife - was seized from him.

The investigation is ongoing.

It was also reported that a woman who beat her 69-year-old mother to death was informed of suspicion of committing intentional serious bodily harm resulting in the victim's death. It is noted that the women were drinking alcoholic beverages together and then began to conflict.
