Elite Russian Scouts Captured by Azov.
Infantry soldiers of the 2nd battalion of the 12th brigade 'Azov' discovered and captured five occupiers in the Toretsk direction, reports the brigade's press service. The Russians, who turned out to be experienced scouts, resisted the military for a long time. However, after the group commander was killed, the remaining soldiers decided to surrender.
In captivity, the Russians spoke about their 'achievements' in the war and the commands from the leadership regarding the execution of prisoners of war and civilians. Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine also detained an Egyptian who participated in the war on Russia's side. Journalist Zolkin, who is well known for his interviews with occupiers, shared his impressions of communicating with the Russians.
According to CASE research, more than seven million Russian men are ready to join the war against Ukraine. This accounts for approximately 30% of those surveyed. Additionally, 13.2% are ready to fight without any incentives, while 16.4% are willing to participate in the war for additional rewards or with support from relatives.
In Moscow, the majority supports the continuation of hostilities (58%), but about 60% of provincial residents prefer peaceful negotiations.
