Today, July 3, in Uman, a farewell took place for the commander of the 110th separate mechanized brigade named after Mark Bezruchko, Colonel Serhiy Zakharovich. He was only 42 years old. He tragically died due to a missile strike by the RF on Huliaipole in Dnipropetrovsk region.It turns out that on July 1, his predecessor, also Colonel Serhiy Zakharovich, also died. This tragic loss was confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, and Brigadier General Serhiy Sobko. The General Staff expressed deep condolences, highlighting him as an officer of honor and a leader respected and trusted by his subordinates. Zelensky also expressed condolences and spoke about his efforts regarding the tragedy in Huliaipole.Uman and Ukraine are bidding farewell to this outstanding officer, losing yet another representative of the new generation of military personnel who grew up in battles and became examples of courage and leadership. The tragedy occurred just a few days after the previous commander’s death.
