Liquidation of the 'ex-mayor' of Luhansk Manolis Pilavov: the SBU revealed new details.
The Security Service of Ukraine detained the 'ex-mayor' of Luhansk, Manolis Pilavov, who became one of the ideologists of the 'Luhansk People's Republic' and actively worked for the occupying authorities. According to information obtained from the media, he died after an explosion, which also led to the death of another former 'mayor' of Luhansk and injured three other individuals. The Security Service of Ukraine continues operations in temporarily occupied territories to ensure national security and stop the activities of collaborators and militants.
Interestingly, Manolis Pilavov had been wanted since 2015 for a criminal offense and had been under Ukrainian sanctions since 2022. The detention of the 'ex-mayor' indicates the active work of special services in combating terrorists and collaborators in the occupied territories.
