According to Novyny.live: After a year and a half of construction, the Českomoravská metro station in Prague reopened to passengers on March 20. Located on the city’s B-line, the station has undergone extensive upgrades that enhance both its functionality and visual appeal.
Key Upgrades at the Station
The renovation included the replacement of escalators, an overhaul of the ventilation system, and the installation of roughly 120 kilometers of new cabling. In addition, 1,600 LED light fixtures now provide brighter and more energy-efficient illumination. A standout feature is the 143 handcrafted fused-glass panels adorning the walls, giving the station a contemporary look.
