Russia Received the US Peace Plan: What We Know About the Negotiations.
According to ТСН: The Russian Federation, according to the assistant to the president, has not yet discussed the details of the 'peace plan' of the United States of America, which is reportedly received through 'unofficial channels.'
Yuri Ushakov, who holds this position, stated that Moscow currently does not have an official version of the US peace plan, but noted that 'unofficial papers exist.' He added that Moscow allegedly has 'several options' for the agreement, which could be quite convoluted, but did not specify how and from where they were obtained.
Discussions on the Peace Plan
According to Ushakov, some aspects of the US peace plan may be 'positive' for Russia, but 'many of them require discussion.' He also emphasized that during recent meetings in Abu Dhabi, this plan was not discussed. The discussions will take place during the visit of Special Representative Steve Witkoff, and Ushakov hopes that the American representative will come not alone but accompanied by members of the Ukrainian team.
Moreover, it has become known that Witkoff advised Russian advisors to Putin. This is confirmed by the transcript of a conversation that took place in October, during which the American official gave Kremlin representatives advice on how, through flattery, to propose a 28-point peace plan to President Donald Trump. This conversation took place before the publication of the controversial 'Trump peace plan.'
Ushakov also commented on the transcript of his phone conversations with Special Representative Steve Witkoff, stating that he often communicates with him, but does not comment on the content of these conversations. According to him, the publication of the transcript is an attempt to hinder the 'improvement of relations' between Russia and the US.
The situation surrounding the peace plan remains tense. The continuation of discussions and consultations from both sides is likely to influence further steps in the relations between Russia and the US, which remain complex and controversial. Observers are awaiting developments to assess the possible consequences for international politics in the region.
