Shakhtar's deal to sell one of the legionnaires has fallen through.
The negotiations between 'Shakhtar' and 'Flamengo' for the transfer of Vinicius Tobias have stalled. The Brazilian club is not ready to pay the amount demanded by the Ukrainian 'miners'.
'Shakhtar' requested 25 million euros for the defender, reports Paparazzo Rubro-Negro.
On Transfermarkt, the price for the 25-year-old Brazilian player Vinicius Tobias is listed as 5 million euros. Therefore, 'Shakhtar's' demands seem inflated, which disappoints the representatives of 'Flamengo'.
Is a transfer of Vinicius possible?
'Flamengo' is not yet giving up on the idea of acquiring the player, but they clearly demand a review of the price from the Ukrainian club. If they cannot reach an agreement, they will look for other options.
Vinicius Tobias moved to 'Shakhtar' from 'Internacional' for 6 million euros in the winter of 2022. Last season, he participated in 26 games, making 5 assists and successfully performing in the position of right-back.
Representatives of 'Flamengo' demand a review of the price for Tobias, as they consider 'Shakhtar's' demands inflated. In case of failure of the deal, the Brazilian club will consider other options for signing the player.Read also
