Gas and Diesel Running Out in Sevastopol

According to UATV: A severe fuel shortage is gripping Sevastopol in Russian-occupied Crimea, with A-92 and A-95 gasoline and diesel becoming increasingly scarce due to logistics breakdowns. The city now has no gasoline of these grades available, creating major headaches for drivers. Diesel is also in short supply and cannot be found at every filling station.

Earlier, authorities in Sevastopol had already imposed purchase limits, allowing no more than 20 liters of gasoline per vehicle. Meanwhile, diesel is being rationed through a coupon system, further complicating life for motorists. Residents of other Crimean cities, including Feodosia, are also reporting difficulties accessing fuel.

Logistics Meltdown and Its Fallout

It should also be noted that the land corridor from the temporarily occupied Donetsk region into Crimea has been blocked by drone operations carried out by the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense. This disruption only worsens the fuel supply situation across the peninsula.

The fuel deficit in Sevastopol and other Crimean towns points to serious logistical failures, likely driven by ongoing military actions and blockades that hamper resource delivery. With limited access to gasoline and diesel, residents are struggling with everyday mobility, which could dampen the region's economic activity. Examining this situation underscores the need to closely monitor supply and consumption patterns amid rising tensions in the area.
