In the tender scandal for 2 billion - a sharp turn. A German will be involved in the construction of a military cemetery.
The owner and director of LLC "Akam" Alexey Mikheev refuted the information about Vadim Ermolaev being involved in his firm, whose company is part of the consortium "Building UA", which will build the National Military Memorial Cemetery. He provided this information at a press conference with the leadership of the Ministry of Veterans, reported "Glavcom".
"Our company has had no relations with Vadim Ermolaev since 2023. I am the founder of the company and have no influence from this person," assured Alexey Mikheev.
On journalists' polar questions about the term of breaking ties with Ermolaev in 2023, the head of "Akam" noted: "I don't remember, somewhere in the fall...".
President Volodymyr Zelensky will introduce a decision of the National Security and Defense Council on personal sanctions against Ermolaev for 10 years in December 2023. The head of state renewed sanctions against Vadim Ermolaev in June 2024. These sanctions were applied due to his ties with enterprises that worked in Crimea and Berdyansk and paid taxes to the Russian budget.
According to the analytical system Youcontrol, the founders of LLC "Akam" are Alexey Mikheev and JSC "Technologies". Until August 8, 2024, Vadim Ermolaev's daughter Sofia Kononenko owned the investment fund, and from August 9, it became owned by the German Evgeny Steinberg.
Also, Vadim Ermolaev on June 21, 2024, gave up ownership of the joint-stock company "Technologies". He was replaced by Sofia Kononenko, and now the German has become the new owner.
The National Military Memorial Cemetery signed a contract with the consortium "Building UA" for construction in the Kyiv region. The construction cost is 1.75 billion UAH and is lower than the expected price. This is the project of the first phase, which is divided into two launch complexes. The first starts in August 2024 and ends by the end of December 2024. The second will begin in parallel with the first and is expected to be completed by December 31, 2025.
The customer's release notes that construction includes engineering networks, parking lots, roads, burials, monuments, an administrative building, a house of mourning, and other facilities necessary for the functioning of the project. The first burials in the memorial cemetery will appear this fall.
During the year, 407 million UAH was allocated for the construction of the cemetery, and next year another 1.35 billion UAH was allocated.
The tender for the construction of the military cemetery was won by the consortium "Building UA", which was the only participant. The founders of the consortium were three enterprises: "Euroelitbud" (Odessa), "Akam" (Dnipro), and JSC "Brovarsk Road Construction Management No. 50" (Kyiv region).
