An incident occurred at Toronto airport when a Delta Airlines plane overturned during landing. There were about 100 people on board, some of whom were injured. This happened at Lester B. Pearson Airport - the largest airport in Canada. The airport has now suspended the arrival and departure of planes.

Currently, there are no reports of fatalities, but the number of injured may increase. There are known details about an accident that occurred near Washington, when an American Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 passenger plane collided with a Sikorsky H-60 (Black Hawk) military helicopter. All were killed in that accident. Additionally, early in the morning on February 7, a plane crash occurred in the Brazilian city of São Paulo, resulting in two fatalities.
