The European Union has decided to create a diesel fuel reserve for Ukraine to help the country get through the current heating season. This was reported by a source in the country's government. Previous attacks from Russia have not caused significant damage to Ukraine's energy infrastructure and have not led to planned power outages. However, the government is preparing for a less favorable development of events and possible emergency outages. The main element of support for Ukraine was the purchase of a diesel fuel reserve from the EU. These reserves will be stored in the EU to avoid falling under Russian attacks. They will ensure the operation of generators, which will power social institutions in case of an emergency.
