Ukraine won seven medals at the U20 European Wrestling Championships.
The hopes of Ukraine in Greco-Roman wrestling continue their victorious march! At the U20 European Championships in Italy, our team took third place in the team standings. They won seven medals: two silver - Yehor Yakushenko (97 kg) and Vladislav Pokotylo (67 kg), and five bronze medals: Pavlo Toryanyk (87 kg), Ivan Yankovsky (130 kg), Maksut Sultanov (60 kg), Anatoliy Pasnak (72 kg), and Kyrylo Shnyriv (82 kg).
The Ukrainian diving team is also performing successfully. At the European Championships in Athens, our athletes won 12 medals: 6 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze. The team consisted of 13 athletes who represented Ukraine at these competitions. Among them were both experienced athletes and newcomers who showed impressive results.
Ukrainian athletes continue to confirm their high level of training and skills, delighting with their victories in international competitions. Their achievements testify to the strong potential of Ukrainian sports and provide grounds for optimism in future competitions.
