Ukraine won three medals at the European Fencing Championships for Cadets.


The Ukrainian cadet team won three medals at the European Championships held in Antalya from February 23 to 26.
The first medal in epee was won by Arseniy Karapysh, who took third place. This is the first success of the Ukrainian fencer at this competition since 2013.
Alina Dmytruk became the champion among cadet female fencers, continuing the tradition of victory for Ukrainian athletes in this discipline. The Ukrainian team also won a gold medal in the team standings.
Overall, the Ukrainian cadet team placed fourth in the overall team ranking. It's also worth mentioning that at the Invictus Games 2025, Ukrainian athletes won 32 medals.
Results of the Ukrainian team at the Invictus Games 2025:
- Swimming - five golds, two silvers, one bronze medal;
- Cross-country skiing - two golds, two silvers, one bronze medal;
- Biathlon - two golds, one silver, two bronze medals;
- Snowboarding - two golds, one bronze medal;
- Alpine skiing - one gold, two silver medals;
- Rowing on simulators - four silver medals;
- Skeleton - one bronze medal;
- Sitting volleyball - one bronze medal.
The athletes of the Ukrainian team also participated in the 'Unconquered' team along with representatives from other countries in various disciplines. The 'Unconquered' wheelchair basketball team won a bronze medal.
The winner of this competition was the USA team, which won 55 medals, of which 23 were gold.
The Invictus Games Foundation that organized these games was founded by Prince Harry in 2014. Ukraine joined this organization in 2017.
