Ukrainians will have all deferments from mobilization canceled as early as November: details.
Significant changes have occurred in the system of granting deferments from mobilization in Ukraine. This was reported by a representative of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center of the Poltava Region - Roman Istomin.
According to Istomin, deferments were previously granted for 90 days, but now all current deferments will only be valid until November 9, 2024. After this date, a new application must be submitted to extend the deferment. Moreover, the application can be submitted both in paper form and electronically through the "Reserve+" application.
The verification of grounds for deferment will be carried out through the Unified State Register of Conscripts and Reservists. If it is not possible to conduct a verification through the register, citizens will have to provide additional documents.
If the deferment is denied, the conscript will be sent to the Military Medical Commission (VLC) to determine fitness for military service. All these changes are made to improve the deferment system and avoid abuses.
Earlier it was explained how long mobilization can last and who can be drafted into the army.
