Residents of Ukraine can submit an application for insurance payment online. This was reported by the press service of the Main Department of the Pension Fund in Donetsk Region. To ease the process of social protection of the population, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has created a new service for submitting applications for the appointment/recalculation/extension of insurance payments in connection with an accident at work or a professional illness. This procedure can now be done online.

There are several types of applications for the appointment/recalculation/extension of insurance payment:

  • application for the appointment/recalculation/extension of insurance payment in connection with an accident at work (professional illness);
  • application for the appointment/recalculation/extension of insurance payment in connection with the death of a breadwinner;
  • application for reimbursement of funeral expenses for the victim and related ritual services;
  • application for the execution of insurance payment (restoration or voluntary termination of payment, payment of unpaid insurance amounts, etc.);
  • application for expense compensation (compensation for travel, housing expenses).

It should be noted that this service is available only to insured persons who have authorized on the web portal using a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES).

To submit an application for the appointment/recalculation of insurance payment through the Pension Fund web portal:

  • Log in to the electronic services web portal using QES.
  • In the menu on the left, select the “Communications with the PFU” section and go to the “Insurance Payment Application”.
  • Agree to remote informing and click “Continue”.
  • In the insurance payment application window, select the required type of application.
  • Fill in all mandatory fields in the application, which are marked with an asterisk.
  • Add scanned copies of the necessary documents, agree to the transfer and processing of personal data, and click “Form an application”.
  • Check the data of the formed application, sign it using QES, and send it to the Pension Fund.
