Ukrainian taekwondo athletes won medals at the World Championship
Young Ukrainian taekwondo athletes (WTF) performed successfully at the World Championship among cadets in Fujairah (UAE). Karina Dovzhanin won a gold medal in the weight category up to 44 kg, Maksym Shulzhenko became a silver medalist in the weight category over 65 kg, while Prokhor Naboka won bronze in the weight class up to 57 kg.
Also in sports news, it is worth mentioning that the women's basketball team 'Valencia' won the title of champions of Spain, defeating 'Zaragoza' and securing their third consecutive victory. Alina Yagupova, the captain of the Ukrainian national team and a player for 'Valencia', showed good results in the final match, scoring 9 points and making several other significant plays on the court.
Throughout the season, Alina Yagupova demonstrated a high level of play, both in the Spanish Championship and in the Euroleague. Her achievements only confirm the crucial role she plays in her team.
