Ukrainians will be able to receive financial assistance under the new large-scale NRC program.
The Norwegian Refugee Council has announced a new stage of accepting applications for financial assistance in Ukraine. This program is aimed at supporting the most vulnerable categories of the population and will last for 10 days, starting from September 9, 2024. Applications will be accepted until September 18 at 17:00.
The selection criteria and priorities include individuals who live in the war zone, have been affected by recent events, and are internally displaced persons.
Applicants must fill out the form and include GPS devices for location verification. Each person can submit only one application.
After the application acceptance period ends, the NRC team will process the information and notify the individuals whose applications have been approved with a personal identification code to check the status. The organization ensures the security of applicants' personal data and emphasizes that it never asks for credit card details, PIN code, or CVV.
NRC provides various assistance in Ukraine, including food, legal and informational support, as well as housing. The previous stage of the program helped more than 76,000 people, and this Time it is planned to help more than 55,000 people.
