Land Auctions: Prices Increased 3.3 Times in a Week.
During the past week, 23 auctions for the sublease of state agricultural land took place on the Prozorro.Sales platform. The 'Land Bank' reported that land plots of various sizes were presented in Kharkiv, Transcarpathia, Lviv, Sumy, and Odesa regions, with a total area of 704.06 hectares.
Summary of Auction Results
The auctions generated total proceeds of 8.1 million hryvnias, and the potential economic effect along with VAT could amount to 9.7 million hryvnias. Participants made 49 bids, with an average price of 11,553 hryvnias per hectare. The overall price of land has increased by 3.3 times.
'The Land Bank' emphasized the success of the auctions, which provided an opportunity for farmers to access state land at a fair market price. This is an important tool for the development of the Ukrainian agricultural sector,' said bank representatives.
Data analysis shows that the sublease auctions for state land were successful and had a positive impact on the development of the agricultural sector in Ukraine.
As a result of the sublease auctions of state agricultural land in Ukraine, it was possible to attract investors, ensure fair pricing policy, and facilitate the development of the agricultural sector. This mechanism for selling land through a transparent platform proved to be effective and stimulated competition among auction participants.
