Meeting of government representatives with Mastercard
Sergiy Derkach spoke with the team at Mastercard to discuss collaboration in improving bus transportation in Ukraine. The meeting took place in the presence of the company's leadership and other high-ranking officials. The Deputy Minister explained that the main goal of the collaboration is to create opportunities for passengers to choose legal routes through a convenient resource.
It was also noted at the meeting the importance of the problem of illegal transportation, with over 25% of passengers purchasing tickets on social networks and paying drivers directly. The Ministry of Economic Development has created the portal autobus.gov.ua and the analytical platform Transport Data Hub to collect and analyze data in the transport sector and to develop appropriate strategies.
Collaboration to improve transport services
This meeting and plans to implement new tools are a clear example of cooperation between the public sector and private companies to improve transport services and combat illegal transportation in Ukraine.
Government representatives and Mastercard have taken on the challenge of addressing the issue of illegal transportation in Ukraine, working together to create legal and convenient routes for passengers.
