Ukrainians warned about new problem on the border with Poland.
Repair work on the border between Ukraine and Poland
Starting from August 12, 2024, repair work will begin at the checkpoint "Hrebenne - Rava-Ruska", which may complicate border crossing.
This was reported by the Western Regional Administration of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
It is reported that the Polish side plans to replace the asphalt pavement. This could lead to delays and increased waiting times. This especially concerns the cargo direction for entry and exit from Poland, as well as the passenger direction for entry to Ukraine.
According to the State Border Service of Ukraine, the repair work will continue approximately until September 12, 2024. Border guards recommend citizens to take this information into account when planning trips and, if possible, choose alternative checkpoints.
It should be noted that on August 5, Poland closed the checkpoint near the Ukrainian transition Yagodyn (the Polish Dorohusk). This checkpoint will not operate until November 14.
