The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine met with a UNDP delegation
Today a meeting took place between representatives of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine and the UNDP delegation. The main topic of discussion was the compensation program for housing loss for people displaced from temporarily occupied territories and participants in hostilities. The new project is called 'Area-Based Recovery in Ukraine', aimed at community recovery and the development of the local economy.
'We are sincerely grateful to UNDP for its systematic work, especially in frontline regions. Despite the full-scale invasion and active hostilities, we are jointly restoring housing for people, hospitals, schools, and energy infrastructure facilities. The results of our partnership have become tangible support for Ukrainian communities,' emphasized the head of the ministry, Oleksiy Kuleba.
UNDP representatives also confirmed their support for Ukraine's regional policy and energy independence. The parties agreed to further expand cooperation in the project 'Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities' and preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025 (URC2025).

The launch of a new project 'Area-Based Recovery in Ukraine' was also announced, which will facilitate economic development in the regions.
