Israel and Iran have announced a ceasefire
U.S. President Donald Trump announced the enforcement of a ceasefire regime between Israel and Iran. 'The ceasefire is in effect. Please do not violate it!' - wrote the American leader on the social network Truth Social.
Israel officially supported Trump's initiative to establish a ceasefire. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office reported that the country is ready to respond 'decisively' to any attempts by Iran to violate the agreements reached.
In an official statement from the Israeli government, it is noted that the country has successfully achieved its goal of eliminating the nuclear and ballistic threat from Iran. Israel's leadership expressed gratitude to President Trump for his active support in ensuring the state's security and his direct involvement in the negotiation process.
Earlier, Iran launched missile strikes on American bases in Qatar and Iraq.
After prolonged tensions in international relations, the ceasefire between Israel and Iran is an important step towards reducing conflict in the region and ensuring peace. President Trump's role in resolving this issue has been acknowledged by both sides, which may indicate some progress in regulating the situation between the states.Read also
