Ukraine No Longer Needs Partner Approval for Strikes on Russia, Says Foreign Minister Sybiha.
Ukraine Gains Autonomy in Military Operations
According to UATV: Ukraine now has the authority to launch strikes against military targets inside Russia without seeking permission from its allies. This was announced by Andrii Sybiha, Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. Under the revised defense strategy, decisions regarding long-range attacks will be made independently, bypassing the need for coordination with partner nations.
Previously, the use of long-range weapon systems required approval from allies, which slowed response times. However, with the growth of domestic production of long-range drones and missiles, Ukraine can now independently select targets and conduct operations in response to emerging threats.

This development marks a significant signal of Ukraine’s increasing military independence and its ability to unilaterally counter threats from Russia. The shift in defense strategy could have a major impact on the tactical situation at the front, enabling faster and more effective responses to potential attacks. Greater decision-making autonomy may also strengthen Ukraine’s standing on the international stage, demonstrating to partners that the country is prepared to act on its own to ensure its security.
