Andrius Kubilius Visits Poland
According to UATV: On March 6, 2023, European Commissioner for Defence and Space, Andrius Kubilius, traveled to Poland to discuss supplying air defense missiles to Ukraine. During his visit, he stressed that Ukraine requires more than 2,000 missiles per year to effectively defend its territory against aerial threats.
An Urgent Need for Deliveries
Kubilius pointed out that, given the winter season, Ukraine needs approximately 700 missiles for its Patriot systems. He urged national governments to urgently sell missiles from their state reserves to Ukraine to provide the necessary support during this critical period. This call to action highlights the immediate pressure on Ukraine's air defense capabilities as the conflict continues.
