Ukrainian player included in the symbolic team of the EuroLeague basketball season.
The Women's EuroLeague has published the symbolic team of the season, which includes Ukrainian national team captain Alina Yagupova. She plays for the Spanish team 'Valencia' and averages 11.3 points, 3.7 assists, and 3.4 rebounds.
Also included in the first team are Gabby Williams and Emma Messman from 'Fenerbahce', Maria Conde from 'USK', and Ilyana Ruper from 'Mersin'.
In the decisive match of the Final Six, 'Valencia' lost to Mersin and will play for third place against 'Fenerbahce'. Yagupova has previously won the Women's EuroLeague with 'Fenerbahce' in the 2022/23 season and has been named MVP of the tournament twice.
Artem Dovbik, a player for 'Roma' and the Ukrainian national team, was named the best player of Serie A in March. He scored 3 goals in 4 matches and was recognized as the best in a poll on the EA Sports website. His unique card will now appear in FIFA.
Jean Belényuk, an Olympic champion in wrestling and a member of parliament, responded to the words of the head coach of 'Roma', who called on Dovbik to take up Greco-Roman wrestling. Belényuk wrote that in three months he would make Dovbik the champion of Italy in Greco-Roman wrestling.
This season, Artem Dovbik scored 16 goals and provided 4 assists in 40 matches for 'Roma'.
