According to inkorr.com: The World Championship in aerial gymnastics has concluded in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. 18-year-old Ukrainian Zlata Zaitseva became the world champion in the 'fabric' discipline, surpassing competitors from Mexico and the USA. This is a tremendous achievement for Ukraine in this sport.
Moreover, Ukraine took 10th place in the overall medal standings of the European Youth Olympic Festival. Our team won 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals, making this performance the second most successful in Ukraine's history of participating in the Festivals.
This is the second most successful performance by Ukraine in the entire history of its participation in the Festivals since 1993! The blue-yellow team has only won more medals in 2019 - then there were 25 awards.
The majority of Ukraine's medals came from judo, but our athletes also demonstrated good results in swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, gymnastics, and table tennis.
