Ukrainian tennis player sues WTA: details of the lawsuit revealed.

Ukrainian tennis player Lesia Tsurenko is filing a lawsuit against the WTA and its chairman Steve Simon for breach of contract and emotional damage. In the lawsuit, she demands a sworn hearing.
The WTA is trying to dismiss the lawsuit, but Tsurenko's lawyers argue that the rules prohibiting players from filing lawsuits against the association are unacceptable.
Tsurenko claims that conversations with WTA representatives, including Simon, and their position during the conflict between Russia and Ukraine have had psychological consequences for her.
The tennis player also accuses Simon of failing to fulfill promises regarding the disqualification of Russian and Belarusian players who supported the war. She cites the example of Veronika Kudermetova's participation in a tournament sponsored by a company on the EU sanctions list.
Tsurenko also mentions an attempt to block their presentation about the war and a conversation with Simon during which he stated that supporting the war is normal and Belarusian and Russian players should participate in the Olympic Games.
A WTA representative declined to respond to the lawsuit, stating that the organization acted in accordance with the rules, but expressed sympathy for Tsurenko and other Ukrainian players.
Tsurenko noted that she could not even imagine in her nightmares that the professional tour would turn into a frightening space where the head of the organization would commit an act of moral violence that had a negative impact on her mental state and work.
The Ukrainian team dedicated their victory in the Billie Jean King Cup qualifier to the warriors of their country.
