Ukrainian athletes won four awards at the Old School Strongman World Championship

According to inkorr.com: At the Old School Strongman World Championship held in Germany, Ukrainian athletes demonstrated a high level of skill. According to the Base of Ukrainian Sports, our athletes won four medals.

Two Ukrainian women became prize winners in the Masters category up to 73 kg. Silver was won by Tetiana Davidenko, and bronze by Marina Koba. The bronze medal was earned by Serhii Kapustin in the Masters category up to 90 kg. Valerii Hazayev finished third in the category up to 120 kg. In the team standings, the Ukrainian team scored 33 points and took 4th place out of 11 participating countries.

In addition, Ukraine ranked among the top ten in the overall medal standings of the European Youth Olympic Festival, finishing in 10th place. Our athletes won 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals, making this achievement the second most successful for Ukraine in the history of the festivals since 1993.
