Ukrainian F-16 pilot first told about battles with enemy aviation.

In the report of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the first interview with an F-16 pilot was published, in which he talks about confrontations with the occupiers. According to the pilot, the presence of high-quality weapons of the Ukrainian army makes a big impression on Russia, and they begin to retreat. The occupiers show caution and understand that Ukrainian weapons are very powerful.

The pilot emphasizes that the Ukrainian military effectively uses Western technology both in the air and on the ground. According to him, more than 80% of missiles launched by the Ukrainian military reach their targets. Ukrainian forces are capable of destroying any targets, including cruise missiles, regardless of where they are located. The pilot also notes that Ukrainian intelligence works well, and they can readily obtain up-to-date information.

It is worth noting that the Ukrainian pilot became the first to destroy six Russian cruise missiles in one combat flight of the F-16 during missile-drone attacks in December 2024.
