UNHCR announces payments for displaced persons in Sumy region: who will receive 10.8 thousand UAH.

UNHCR Ukraine announced that anyone interested can register for payments under the support program for citizens in one of the Ukrainian cities. The funds will be provided to vulnerable categories of the population, it was reported in the Telegram community.

Who is eligible for international monetary assistance

Financial support can be received by residents of Lebedyn in the Sumy region who have moved due to the aggression of Russia. Among them are internally displaced persons and those who have returned to Ukraine after being forced to leave due to the war.

• Returnees from abroad;

Special priority for receiving assistance will be given to people with disabilities, the elderly, or those with illnesses, as well as families where only one parent is raising children.

How to receive financial support

To receive financial assistance from UNHCR Ukraine, you need to sign up for the reception of mobile groups for registration in the program. You can call the data collection point in the city of Sumy. Registration is also planned in other cities of the region until the end of August 2025.
