At the World Championship for boys and girls in rapid and blitz, held in Rhodes, Greece, four Ukrainian chess players won gold and silver. Myron Netrybka from Dnipro became the world champion in blitz in the under 8 category, while Daria Kravchuk from Bucha received a silver medal in rapid in the under 10 category.
The Ukrainian team in sports acrobatics also won thirteen medals at the European Championship. In the adult age category for all-around, the pair of Ruzanna Vecheruk and Angelina Chernyavska won gold, in the mixed pair – Yevfrosiniya Kryvytska and Ivan Labunets, and in the women’s group – Elina Kozachanska, Karina Ostrovskaya, and Alina Puhach. Additionally, youth teams from Ukrainian acrobatics won silver and bronze.
