The government has expanded the list of medical products that hospitals must purchase through Prozorro Market.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has added 27 new positions and 42 positions of medical products to the list of medicines that become mandatory for purchase through the electronic catalog Prozorro Market.
According to the Ministry of Health, healthcare institutions and structural divisions of regional administrations must purchase 427 medicines and 134 medical products through the e-catalog.
The innovations concern various groups of medicines, including antithrombotic, antibacterial, antitumor, and anti-allergic drugs.
The list of medical products necessary for conducting hemodialysis, cardiac surgeries, and surgeries, anesthesiology, and intensive care has also increased.
The expansion of the list is due to the popularity and effectiveness of the e-catalog Prozorro Market, which has become an important tool for purchasing medical products. Over the past two years, the cost of goods purchased through this catalog has increased by 6.5 times, and hospitals have saved an average of 15% from the expected cost of goods.
