A native of Kherson is suspected of torturing Ukrainians during the occupation of Kharkiv region.

The Office of the Prosecutor General reported that a native of Kherson, who took part in the capture of the village of Velykyi Burluk during the occupation of Kharkiv region, is wanted. This person is suspected of torturing military personnel and civilians.

According to the investigation, this man, known as "Ugryumy", served in the Russian army, specifically in the 101st Rifle Regiment. During the occupation, he became the head of a torture chamber created by the occupiers in the basement of the local police station.

The suspect cruelly tortured Ukrainian military personnel and civilians who supported pro-Ukrainian views. He used physical violence, starved them, and deprived them of sleep. He also threatened death to those who refused to cooperate with the occupiers. Among his victims were ATO veterans, whom he beat with his feet and weapons.

The criminal has now been charged with cruel treatment of civilians under the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Currently, law enforcement agencies are searching for him.

Recently, captured Ukrainian soldiers reported cruel torture in detention center No. 2 in Taganrog. This became known after a prisoner exchange.

Ukrainian law enforcement agencies, together with the State Bureau of Investigation and the State Border Guard Service, detained a collaborator in Kherson. This person, who worked as a border guard, cooperated with Russian invaders during the temporary occupation of the city.
